TESI aims at formulating a Joint Master Programme on Social Innovation (JM) for the Adriatic-Ionian region. For this purpose, the project gathers universities and research centers working together to define the content and the activities of the JM.
TESI will raise competences and skills on social innovation through capacity building approaches, with a focus on contemporary social challenges in education, urban regeneration, social entrepreneurship, welfare, migration and inclusion, labor, and aging.
The partnership includes 6 Universities and 1 research center from 6 Adrion Countries (Italy, Croatia, Greece, Slovenia, Albania and Serbia), with the support of the UNIADRION Network and other 4 associated partners from Italy, Slovenia, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will cooperate and work together in project's activities to favor the development, promotion and implementation of the JM.
The main outputs of the project will be the creation of an innovative transnational network of Universities, research institutions and business organizations working in the field of social innovation, of a Strategy and an Action Plan for the development of the JM in Social Innovation. A series of webinars and a summer school involving participants from each project country will lead to a sustainable and structured Master Programme.
The Master will award a joint degree taking into account national legislations. The programme envisages funded mobility schemes to partner universities and includes also an internship period to allow participants working on their project work in a stimulating context on the preferred topic.
For that purpose, TESI embraces several partners and stakeholders in the project partnership, such as public administration, NGOs, businesses, with which agreements for hosting JM participants
