Biobibliographical Notes on the Members
Monica Abd El Messih
Graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs (University of Bologna), she began working in the lobbying sector in Rome while studying for her Master's degree in Politics and International Relations at LUMSA. Thanks to her experiences abroad, she is proficient in four foreign languages. She studied at Université de Montréal, Universidad Pablo De Olavide de Sevilla and Sciences Po Bordeaux. She has worked at the Consulate General in Montréal and at ICAO (UN). She has also worked as a business consultant for Ausone Conseil and for the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights. She is passionate about politics and has been involved in trade union representation and in journalism for years.
Martina Adúriz Valdettaro
She has a degree in Spanish and Latin American Language and Literature with a specialization in young adult literature. She has more than ten years of teaching experience, also at university level, in her hometown (Buenos Aires) and in Italy. She is currently working as a collaborator and language expert at the Università per Stranieri di Siena. She is also a DELE examiner at the Cervantes institute. Throughout her career, she has written and contributed to several Spanish textbooks and has produced her own series, helping children develop writing and reading skills. Thanks to a bilingual diploma (English and Spanish) and various official certificates, she also works as a translator from English into Spanish.
Verónica Di Pasquale
Graduated in Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, she has specialized in legal translation. She has taught Spanish (her native language) and French since the beginning of her studies, and has worked abroad on numerous occasions, also as an Italian teacher. She is currently working as a Spanish language tutor at the University of Bologna (Department of Political and Social Science). She has been working as a translator for over 20 years and runs her own translation and interpreting agency, where she also organizes several language courses, workshops for children and young students, professional training sessions and specialized language workshops for both translators and professionals from other sectors (such as lawyers, doctors, architects and surveyors).
