PRIN 2015

Scientific Coordinator: Asher Daniel Colombo

National coordination. This research (La morte e il morire in Italia. Atteggiamenti, comportamenti, credenze, rituali) aims to explore the topics of death and dying in Italy to fill the gap in Italian studies, thus allowing for a comparison with international research. In particular, the topics under study are the following: Italian beliefs on death and the afterlife, people’s reaction to the death of a loved one or how they behave in their last moments of life, how people grieve, how they value funeral rites, how they remember past generations and the bonds they keep with the deceased.
