Support for the Department’s Governing Bodies and Institutional Activities

The service operates within the “Administrative Services” operational unit and provides support to the Department’s Governing Bodies (Giunta and Consiglio), to the Department’s institutional activities, and in the area of privacy.

Support for the Department’s Governing Bodies and Institutional Activities

Among the main activities carried out:

  • Preliminary processing of cases to be approved by the Giunta and the Consiglio di Dipartimento;

  • Support in drafting resolutions and decrees;

  • Implementation of subsequent determinations within the various areas of competence;

  • Administrative management of recruitment procedures for teaching and research staff, including the preliminary processing of calls for fixed-term researchers (RTD-A) funded by European projects or the PNRR;

  • Management of electoral processes for representatives in the Department’s governing bodies;

  • Management of donations.

Privacy

The privacy representatives provide support, including to the Director, in the following activities:

  • Administrative support in drafting privacy notices and agreements governing data processing responsibilities;

  • Management and updating of processing records;

  • Management of the designations of authorised persons for the processing of personal data within the Department staff;

  • Coordination with the University’s DPO (Data Protection Officer) for the periodic monitoring of such activities and the dissemination of best practices.
