Institutional Delegates
The head of department may assign special mandates for cross-cutting issues of special importance.
Head of department delegates:
Teaching sector: Prof. Francesco Raschi and Prof. Massimiliano Trentin substitute delegate for the purposes of participation in interdepartmental commissions
The delegate for teaching is in charge of preliminary analyses relating to teaching planning, tutoring, the right to higher education, the teaching calendar and agreements. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with the internationalization of education, stakeholders and higher education courses.
Research sector: Prof. Debora Mantovani
The delegate for research is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to the Single Annual Report on Departmental Research (SUA-RD), the University Research Evaluation Committee (VRA), the Integrated Budget for Research (BIR), the ministerial research funds for Fundamental Oriented Research (RFO), research fellowships, PhD programmes, department journals and research centres. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with European projects, external funding and incentives.
Internationalization sector: Prof. Antonio Fiori
The delegate for internationalization is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to the Erasmus and Overseas programmes, international agreements, the Integrated Budget for internationalization (BINT). Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with European projects, internationalization of education and employment of staff from abroad.
Third mission sector: Prof. Barbara Saracino
The delegate for the Third Mission is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to agreements with external bodies, meetings and consultations with stakeholders and vocational training courses. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with external funding, stakeholders and higher education courses.
