Observatory on International Politics - OPI
Coordinator: Professor Filippo Andreatta
The Observatory on International Politics (Osservatorio di politica internazionale – OPI) pursues international and scientific objectives in the area of international relations, with a focus on the contemporary international system, Italian foreign policy, the relationship between politics and world economy and the issue of armed conflicts.
OPI also promotes the participation of its members in joint research projects, the involvement of researchers and professors from other departments of the University of Bologna, and the creation of research networks with the main national and international centres (academic and non-academic) in the field of international relations.
Finally, OPI, wishing to encourage the dissemination of knowledge on the most significant aspects of international politics and international relations in Italy, holds conferences, seminars and meetings, and contributes to the annual meeting of the Standing Group on International Relations of the Italian Political Science Association.
