Titolo: “Il Piano vaccini anti Covid-19: analisi del sistema di governance e prima implementazione”
Brief description of the seminar:
On December 27, 2020 the vaccination campaign again COVID-19 started in Europe. The aim of this seminar is to provide a moment of reflection and debate on the state of implementation of the Italy's Strategic Plan for anti-SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 vaccination, about five months after the Vaccine Day. Drawing on the political science literature that since the 1970s had analyzed the impact of multi-level and multi-actor arrangements on policy implementation, explanatory variables will be presented to explain the different vaccination performance in the Italian regions. This research is still ongoing, so at a descriptive level of analysis, efforts will be made to reflect on the lessons learned from the first months of implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program. The seminar will therefore represent an opportunity for academics and practitioners to reflect on the lights and shadows of our country’s system of governance, as well as on the possible corrective actions that could be adopted for the subsequent phases of the vaccination campaign.
