Institutional Delegates

The head of department may assign special mandates for cross-cutting issues of special importance.

Head of department delegates:

Teaching sector: Professor Nicola De Luigi

The delegate for teaching is in charge of preliminary analyses relating to teaching planning, tutoring, the right to higher education, the teaching calendar and agreements. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with the internationalization of education, stakeholders and higher education courses.

Research sector: Professor Michele Alacevich

The delegate for research is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to the Single Annual Report on Departmental Research (SUA-RD), the University Research Evaluation Committee (VRA), the Integrated Budget for Research (BIR), the ministerial research funds for Fundamental Oriented Research (RFO), research fellowships, PhD programmes, department journals and research centres. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with European projects, external funding and incentives.

Internationalization sector: Professor Marco Borraccetti and Professor Sabrina Ragone

The delegate for internationalization is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to the Erasmus and Overseas programmes, international agreements, the Integrated Budget for internationalization (BINT). Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with European projects, internationalization of education and employment of staff from abroad.

Third mission sector: Professor Matteo Battistini

The delegate for the Third Mission is in charge of the preliminary analyses relating to agreements with external bodies, meetings and consultations with stakeholders and vocational training courses. Additionally, in cooperation with other delegates, he/she deals with external funding, stakeholders and higher education courses.

Promotion of departmental activities sector: Professor Riccardo Prandini

Communication sector: Giuseppe Sciara

The delegate for communication is in charge of the communication processes involving the Department of Political and Social Science. In cooperation with other delegates, he/she is also in charge of reviewing and promoting the department's identity.

The rector may assign special mandates and project-based tasks for cross-cutting issues of special importance.
