The laboratory is an audiovisual facility for producing the department’s multimedia outputs.

ProDiGi Laboratory

This highly versatile space, located at Via Azzo Gardino 23, consists of several rooms where audiovisual products can be developed for teaching, institutional, and research purposes. It represents a complete and highly professional solution for the production of podcasts, news, videos, and documentaries.

The audio-video recording studio is equipped with both a green screen and a neutral backdrop. The workstation includes a condenser microphone, two lavalier wireless microphones, a mixer, and two remotely operated 4K cameras. The virtual set features a full array of remotely controlled LED panels, fully manageable from the control room.

The control room is equipped with an audio mixer, video switcher, remote lighting control system, workstation, and camera control unit.

For outdoor filming, a JVC 4K camera offering excellent versatility and image quality is available, along with high-quality Sony wireless microphones and a Gitzo tripod with fluid head.
The photographic equipment includes Canon APS-C DSLR cameras.

For post-production and graphic design, two workstations are available to users and staff — one running MacOS and the other Windows.

Different forms of technical assistance and support can be arranged with the staff in charge, depending on project needs.
