Conferences, Congresses, and Seminars

The service operates within the “Administrative Services” operational unit and provides support for the assignment of appointments (paid or unpaid) to speakers at conferences, congresses, and seminars.

Among the main activities carried out by the service:

  • completion of request forms for speakers;

  • preparation of the approval procedure in the Department Council in case of assignment of appointments;

  • contacts with the scientific supervisor or with the speaker for the completion of tax documentation;

  • in cases where the use of the departmental agreement for event organisation services is required, the service acts in coordination with the Procurement Office, which carries out periodic reviews, at least every six months, of initiatives requiring the use of such agreement.
