It is established by Law 240/2010 and by the University Statute.
It is regulated within the Department’s Rules of Procedure.
Functions
The Joint Student–Faculty Commission plays a crucial role in the University’s quality assurance system concerning teaching and student services, for all the Department’s Degree Programmes. The student members have an active role, being able to bring their perspective, express observations, and put forward proposals for improvement.
The Commission:

monitors, through specific indicators, the educational offer, the quality of teaching, and student services;

provides opinions on the establishment, activation, modification, and discontinuation of the educational offer;

may submit proposals to the Department Council on issues concerning teaching and on the allocation of financial resources;

drafts an annual report on the teaching activities of the Degree Programmes overseen by the Department.
Composition
The Commission is chaired by Prof. Paolo Terenzi and includes the following faculty members: Carla De Tona, Loris Vergolini, Angela Santese, Giuseppe Sciara. Student members of the Commission are: Camilla Croda, Angelica Alvez Rivera, Antonio Maria Chiavone, Tommaso Lanzoni, Nicola Pistarelli.
