PRIN 2022 - 10/2023 – 10/2025

Head of the Unibo research unit: Filippo Tronconi

MiMeSys is a 24-month research project that explores misperceptions, biased information, and polarization between media and political systems in the context of the Social Sciences and Humanities.

Through a multi-methodological approach, including surveys and media analysis, MiMeSys aims to make a significant contribution to the scientific understanding of the causes and political implications of misperceptions and seeks to assess their impact on political participation, political behavior and polarization.

The project is funded by the Ministry of Education, University, and Research (MIUR) under the 2022 Projects of Significant National Interest (PRIN), Project Code 2022WYEW47
