The ROLLBACK “Rule of Law Backsliding in Europe” Jean Monnet Chair investigates from a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective the implications of the rule of law deterioration in European constitutionalism. It encompasses innovative teaching and research on the EU, while fostering dialogue with civil society. It addresses the scope of the rule of law from a comparative viewpoint, analysing the challenges to such principle and the role played by EU institutions and Member States.
