In 1947 Egypt had a population of 19 million inhabitants; in 2018 Egypt has a population of 100 million inhabitants. Despite contradictory and incompatible economic policies, the 100 million inhabitants of today have on average better life expectancy and better all round economic conditions. Why is this so?

The untold story of how an International Financial Institution that is specialized in Agriculture and has a two thirds of the voting power with developing countries was created: this is the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
